Happy Friday Everyone! You've worked hard all week, and now it's time to have fun! Getting out and enjoying the beautiful Bay Area, as well as enjoying the company of friends old and new, is great for your mental health. Schroeder's is kicking off Oktoberfest in True Bavarian Style with our annual Block Party.


Front Street Block Party!


With live music by Department of Rock. There will be lots of beer, jager shots, sausages, pretzels, prizes, beer games!


Make sure you dress up for the occasion! First beer is FREE if you come in Oktoberfest attire/costume! We will also be holding a costume contest for the Grand Prize!

District Six is an outdoor continuously evolving experience that brings individuals safely together to enjoy a curated selection of local small good vendors and food trucks. We also feature weekly themes and live entertainment such as local DJs or bands.


Please note: Most importantly, we are also following social distancing and health protocols which includes tables being placed 6 feet apart, mandatory masks for each attendee, and disinfecting surfaces after each group.

Greetings Ghosts & Goblins~we invite you to Alameda's official Halloween Market to celebrate this most delightful Hallowday. Our spooky artists from near and far will fright and delight you with handmade wares and ghoulish collectibles. Find one of a kind tricks & treats including home decor, fashion, fine art & photography, dolls, taxidermy, ephemera, jewelry, tarot readings, assemblage art, the occult and more! This is an OUTDOOR event! Vendors will fill the al Fresco Dining park and line the sidewalk of Webster between Taylor & Haight from 11-7pm as you creep your way down the road.


Enjoy adult beverages with bars by the Fireside Lounge, famous food truck Satay by the Bay, music from DJ’s Miz Margo, Sid Presley, Fledermaus and Zlaya presented by A-town Events & Booking Agency and additional food ootions from the multi-cultural restaurants lining Webster street.


TICKETS: FREE to $10 VIP Early Entry (shop your favorite vendors before the crowds!) This is a ticketed event-We have 3 vending locations, 2 are open to the public and 1 (the al Fresco Dining Park) is our enclosed, main venue and has a max capacity, which requires a ticket for entry. GET YOUR TICKET TODAY!! All ticket holders get a wrist band for re-entry. NO TICKET NEEDED AFTER 6PM!


FAMILY AND PET FRIENDLY


PET COSTUME CONTEST!! 1:00PM - 3:00PM and 5:00PM with fabulous prizes for you & your batty pooch! Hooman costumes are encouraged but not required. Must be present to win.

MASKS ARE MANDATORY indoors for every business in our community. STAY HOME IF YOU DON'T FEEL WELL. Our vendors have sanitizer and offer touchless payment options.

Can I bring my dog? ...YES!! Well behaved dogs are welcome! SERVICE ANIMALS ALLOWED.


What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? ...Webster Street is accessible via the tube with nearby access to I-880 and public transportation. Street parking is available, both metered and unmetered. There is a parking garage on Park Street with a direct bus line to Webster via Santa Clara as well (Bus 51A). People with ADA Placards can park free at meters.


How can I help make this a great event? ...Spread the word, bring lots friends, your patience, smile, an open mind...money is good!

Laugh Riot is a new comedy drag show that brings together your favorite Bay Area drag performers for a night full of hilarious drag numbers, games, and lip sync battles. This show is sure to be a night that tickles your funny bone! Every 1st and 3rd Sunday at The Milk Bar in the heart of Haight Street!


Show starts at 7:30pm and reservations can be made here on Eventbrite!

The Warriors and Kaiser Permanente are hosting weekly Thrive City Farmers Market every Sunday from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.


Thrive City plaza, the community gathering space surrounding Chase Center, will provide shoppers with access to a wide variety of locally-sourced offerings including seasonal fruits, fresh produce, naturally-raised meats, farm fresh eggs and artisan pastries. The Farmers’ Market will also include health and wellness sessions, live music, scavenger hunts, a kids corner and more!
