We will be hosting our mew Purrlates class in our cat lounge with 20+ cats. We recommend you wear a tee shirt or long-sleeved shirt, as many of our cats like to hop on backs during these sessions (it can be a little unpurrdictable). We also advise that you show up ready to go in your Purrlates workout outfit, as we only have one restroom for changing and to bring a water bottle just in case you get parched during your session. *It is optional to bring your own mat, but we will be providing clean pilates mats as well.
Rescheduling and Refunds for Purrlates: Due to the nature of this event and the world, tickets cannot be refunded or rescheduled after purchase. However, if you give us a heads-up at support@kitteasf.com we can try to sell your tickets and either refund or reschedule mew for a future date.

Annually featuring scores of renowned and emerging authors in conversations at multiple indoor and outdoor venues, the Bay Area Book Festival has become one of the country’s premier literary events. We are lucky to be based in a region rich in literary history and innovation and brimming with writers, readers, activists, and independent booksellers. Attracting 10,000 attendees over the course of the events in Downtown Berkeley, the festival promotes its authors and programs through a robust publicity strategy utilizing social media, partnerships with local press and partner organizations, and story placements in diverse and wide-ranging media outlets.
The Festival offers a panoramic view of what’s most exciting in literature today. Our goal is to create conversation, prioritizing authors and topics that reflect and engage the diverse readers who live and work in the Bay Area. We center marginalized voices, explore complex current events from a multitude of angles, and celebrate boundary-pushing literature. Our comprehensive program for children and middle grade readers finds new and creative ways to engage young readers and their caregivers through interactive and innovative programming.

Over 30 Craft Breweries to Support Shelter Animals at Award-Winning East Bay Beer Festival
BERKELEY, Calif. – In honor of the upcoming National Beer Day, Berkeley Humane has announced tickets are now on sale for Pints for Paws, 10th Anniversary craft beer festival. Voted Best Fundraising Event in the East Bay for several years running, Pints for Paws will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 2 pm – 5 pm (1-hour earlier entrance for VIP ticket holders) at 2700 Ninth Street, Berkeley. This event sells out every year.
Community volunteers organize this 21-and-over dog-friendly event with all funds supporting the medical and behavioral needs of shelter dogs and cats. To learn more or to purchase tickets for Pints for Paws, https://berkeleyhumane.org/pints-for-paws.
“I participate in a lot of festivals, but Pints for Paws has a unique vibe, and there is nothing as powerful as a community coming together to save the lives of animals,” said Kevin Hamilton, event chair and owner of Canyon Club Brewery. “This event sells out every year, so buy your tickets early and plan to attend with your dog and your friends.”
Admission includes a commemorative Belgian-style glass, unlimited tastings from over 30 unique craft breweries, artesian ciders, boutique wineries, Tito’s vodka, and other beverages while enjoying live music and a friendly neighborhood vibe.
Fieldwork Brewing, Subaru, and Wareham Development present the dog-friendly event. Unlike beer festivals that donate only a fraction of proceeds to charities, 100% of the funds raised by Pints for Paws support Berkeley Humane’s programs and community services.
“Pints for Paws attracts an amazing group of beer lovers and dog owners who come together for a great cause,” said Jeffrey Zerwekh, executive director of Berkeley Humane. “This event provides us with the financial resources to save the lives of injured, abused, or animals in need of urgent medical care.”
This event sells out, and prices will increase the last week, so please purchase your tickets now. To learn more or to purchase tickets for Pints for Paws in Berkeley, CA, on June 1st, please visit: https://berkeleyhumane.org/pints-for-paws
