One of the longest running independent comedy shows in America featuring a revolving showcase of SF's best comics every Friday at Kells, home to San Francisco's legendary Purple Onion in the heart of beautiful North Beach. We're easy to get to and an amazing starting point for an unforgettable Friday night in SF.
About the show
Each show features five to six comedians, ranging from SF's best up and coming acts to the occasional drop-in national headliner.
Come early and enjoy some great food and amazing craft drinks at Kells full bar and restaurant. At 8pm, grab your drink and head downstairs for the show!
The show will end by 9:30pm.
We encourage everyone to stick around after the show and party with us at Kells!

We often sell out, so please buy your tickets in advance. If the event is sold out online, we will not have any extra tickets to sell at the door. In that case, please get tickets to the next show!
If I can't make it to the show anymore, will the fees be refunded?

THE SHOW
The Purple Onion is a legendary comedy club in San Francisco that had its heyday in the 1950s and 60s and helped launch the careers of Phyllis Diller, The Smothers Brothers, Lenny Bruce, Woody Allen, and Richard Pryor. Now, a new generation of comedic talent is set to take the stage! From the producers of one of the longest running independent shows in America, comes this comedy tour de force with some of the hottest up and coming acts in the Bay Area!
THE VENUE
Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub in San Francisco offers a warm atmosphere inside an original Barbary Coast building. Oak flooring, some private wood booths and central tables with white table cloths combine to create an extraordinary dining atmosphere. An interesting and unexpected menu with creative flair offers classic Irish and American favorites as well as innovative dishes.

Fridays are always a great time to go roller skating. This is a session where kids and families skate along with anyone that's in the mode to get their skate groove on early!!! Please skate safely. All participants must please follow the direction of the rink personnel.
Skate Rental are available for $5.00, but not included with the purchase of your ticket.
NO REFUNDS!!! Attendees are NOT allowed to transfer their registration between this event and another event. Be sure you are selecting the proper date and time you want to skate.

The USS Hornet Sea, Air and Space Museum is proud to present CarrierCon, a convention celebrating cosplay, tabletop gaming, and Western and Japanese media. CarrierCon is an opportunity for people of all ages to share their love of cosplay and pop culture media while supporting a Bay Area local museum.
We're featuring guests panelists, a cash prize for our cosplay contest, an overnight add-on, and more!
The USS Hornet Sea, Air and Space Museum is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that utilizes historic aircraft carrier USS Hornet and the collections, exhibitions and educational programming to promote awareness and understanding of history, science, technology, and service. All proceeds made from CarrierCon go to support the USS Hornet Sea, Air and Space Museum.
CarrierCon is a way for the Museum to engage with new audiences and broaden awareness of the Hornet Museum. It was created and is run by the Museum Staff and our Volunteers to combine and share our and our guests' passions for popular culture and history. Pop culture superstars from movies to television shows to video games have all pulled heavily from military and Navy ships, uniforms, and general aesthetics and we're proud to show you why when you come aboard for cosplay photography and general enjoyment! CarrierCon exists to educate about these influences as much as it exists as a celebration of popular culture.
Special guests include World of Warships, Azur Lane, Elfquest creators Wendy and Richard Pini, Dreamscape, Star Wars Costume Clubs, Cosplay Wrestling Federation, the Society for Creative Anachronism, over 50 artists and more!

Have you ever woken up on the day of the Oscars and thought, damn, I wish I had cable just for today so I could watch the Oscars?
And then the time comes around and you're stuck without it and none of your friends have cable and all you want is a classy drink and to pretend you are there in a big ball gown laughing with Jennifer Lawrence about how great Georgle Clooney looks?
Anyway fantasy fulfilled! Manny's will be hosting an Oscars Viewing Party at Manny's complete with gold tinsel, a speciality Oscars cocktail just for attendees along with special Oscars themed games and prizes for folks who guess the right winners. Come on by!

Cheaper Than Therapy offers a healthy dose of live stand-up comedy every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, year-round. Located in San Francisco's historic Shelton Theater in the heart of Union Square, Cheaper Than Therapy is convenient to get to, whether you live in the Bay Area or are just visiting.
About the show
Each show features five to six hand-picked, experienced comedians and an occasional guest drop-in.
Please arrive at the theater by 7:45pm to check in with the box office. The bar opens at 7pm, and the show starts at 8pm. Last seating is at 8:20pm.
The theater has a full bar with no drink minimum. Come early for craft drinks and great seats!

Unfortunately, Eventbrite does not refund any fees, so only the base ticket price is refunded. However, we're happy to transfer your tickets to a future show of your choice instead. Just email us at info@cttcomedy.com let us know that you can no longer make it and want to transfer your tickets. Once you've decided on a date that works better for you, email us again at least 48 hours in advance of the show, and we'll confirm your tickets.
