The 2023 PROXY Spring Series of outdoor cinema is back & kicks off on Friday, March 24th at the Proxy Community Walk-in Theater.
Presented by Here for Now, these free evening film screenings at the Proxy Walk-In Theater begin at 7:45PM with ‘doors’ opening at 7PM.
Come early to claim a good spot, enjoy a frosty Fort Point Beer or wine by Fig & Thistle(all proceeds support outdoor cinema at Proxy), and delicious ice cream from Hometown Creamery and fare from local food trucks Mozzeria, Bobcha, Momolicious, and The Waffle Roost.

California’s largest nighttime street food festival is back in San Francisco every Friday beginning March 24, 2023! Off the Grid: Fort Mason Center returns for its 13th season celebrating the variety, diversity and passion of the Bay Area food truck scene and beyond.
With over 50 food creators throughout the season, you can find your favorite treats while also discovering new and delicious dishes. Along with a diverse selection of food options, each Friday will also feature the Kivelstadt Cellars WineGarten, full cocktail bar, live music, and more!

DogFest 2023 is a mutt-tastic festival at one of the most dog-friendly parks in the city and the biggest dog event in San Francisco.

DogFest attendees can expect nonstop fun and games. The park fills with carnival-style games staffed by McKinley students, while at the top end jumping castles keep the little ones busy. Dogs are the star of the event, of course, with a daylong show and contest. Food trucks ensure that everyone is well fed, while the book fair, merchant stalls, and the doggie adoption zone provide wonderful ways to support the community.

Like a mini Hardly Strictly Bluegrass taking over an entire neighborhood, Pickin’ on the Polk is a free districtwide bluegrass (and more) show in the Discover Polk Community Benefit District – April 22, 2023.
For 2023, this special Earth Day Festival will temporarily transform Polk Street into a free, all-day bluegrass (plus rock, R&B and funk) festival featuring renowned artists playing throughout the neighborhood.
Also, through a partnership with Aquarium of the Bay, the festival will offer other family-friendly conservation minded activities all day.

There is a place in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park that is heaven for Bay Area inline skaters and roller skaters who like to boogie to the funky beat on wheels.
The Godfather of Skate brings his mobile DJ unit and plays groovy tunes for you to skate to. On most Sundays, there’s usually someone willing to teach you a few choreographed roller disco dance moves.
