If you are feeling like you might be burning out, here are some prevention suggestions:

  • Take vacations. Get out of your environment, and try going off the grid. A bit of time for yourself can help minimize stress.

  • Get lots of sleep. Lack of sleep often is the culprit to health and emotional stress.

  • Meditate

  • Act. Don’t let your frustrations fester.

  • Build quality relationships. Having good relationships is vital to good health!

  • Work out. Exercise relieves stress, improves your health and helps to increase confidence.

  • Schedule free time during your work day. Take your breaks!

  • Practice gratitude. Start your day with finding something you are grateful for, or write in a gratitude journal.

  • Find a hobby. Finding something that you enjoy outside of work is helpful in finding life balance.
